Mary O'Neill
Executive Director

Mary O'Neill assumed her position as Executive Director on October 24, 2005.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Mary has been a resident in Alberta for the past 35 years. She served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for St Albert from 1997-2004, during which time she was Chairperson of the Government's Standing Policy Committee on Health and Community Living. A former high school teacher by profession and a real estate salesperson in business, Mary has played an active leadership role within the volunteer sector. She has served on the University of Alberta Board of Governors and Senate, Volunteer Alberta, Edmonton Community Foundation, Alberta Cancer Board and currently sits on the NAIT Board of Governors.

Dinah Gray
Director of Communications and Events

Dinah Gray assumed her position on September 4, 2007

Dinah is a senior public relations practitioner with broad-based communications and marketing expertise who spent the early years of her career providing communications counsel and support to Capital Health’s Royal Alexandra and Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospitals. In 1999 she joined the Alberta Mental Health Board and was responsible for their communications function. Dinah became a member of the Northlands team in 2003 and spent the next four years thriving on providing public relations management for a complex and dynamic mix of entertainment, sports and agricultural business initiatives. With extensive development and management expertise in social marketing, Dinah believes in the power of strong messages and well-executed marketing initiatives and is very excited and pleased to join the Foundation.

Lisa Watson

Lisa brings a strong background in research and information management to her portfolio. She supports the Foundation in all aspects of its administration and for many donors and those making enquiries to the Foundation, is the important first point of contact.
